Introduction

Dear JCI Senators,

JCI Senate Belgium welcomes JCI Senators from all over the globe at the second JCI World Congress hosted in Belgium.

JCI Senate Belgium turned 45 last year while the first JCI Chapter was created in Brussels 75 years ago. This undoubtedly marks a long JCI presence in Belgium and our Senators have been - and still are - active on local, regional (JCI Vlaanderen and JCI Belgium Wallonie Bruxelles) as well as on national level.

Belgian Senators keep tight contacts with the new JCI generation of leaders, offering presence and support when asked. And to keep the good relationships built over the years, JCI Senate Belgium organizes regular activities where all Senators are convened and there are always a bunch of Senators attending the national conventions of neighbouring countries.

When based in a small country, with an economic largely oriented towards the world, it sounds obvious noticing that JCI Belgium has presented outstanding Senators to hold positions of great responsibility in the JCI organization : 2 world presidents, 29 appointed Officers plus other members assigned to international positions.

With these strong roots, you can be confident that Belgian JCI Senators are highly motivated to support the COC and to prepare an interesting program for all JCI Senators.
