Expert Day on Blue Economy ‘How to milk the green cow blue’

The world is constantly changing. That is, of course, inevitable. Yet we cannot simply remain static. We need to follow these changes carefully and even put ourselves ahead of them. We can all do something to make the ongoing transition positive. The aim of this Expert Day is to provide examples of how to ensure the change is positive and to bring out the strengths that we are all capable of. Our goal is to give everybody attending the inspiration to think creatively and to act innovatively within their own personal and professional environment.
Blue economics is rightly a hot item these days. It opens a future based on a treasure of inexhaustible possibilities for those ready to step up. Carefully selected keynote speakers and their testimonials will prove this. They will link their personal experiences with the ‘new’ world of the blue economy and green technology; connecting leadership with material sources, digital manufacturing, art, fashion, and gastronomy to the JCI and an external invited audience on how to create a better future and prosperity for all.
Interaction and discusion will be part of the program.
The whole day will be moderated by Dirk Denoyelle
At the close of the event, the winner of the prestigious Creative Young Entrepeneur Award will be announced by minister President Flemish Governement Kris Peeters, JCI World President Kentaro Harada, Chair UN Global Compact Belgium Iris Van der Veken, Director of Flanders DC Pascal Cools and previous winners of the CYEA, Patrick De Cuyper and Jo Nelissen.
